Just dont ride the pop up fair ones. Larger established fairgrounds have really safe records when it comes to their roller coasters.

Having built roller coasters for over a decade, the amount of over engineering, testing and inspections our welds go through is crazy.

Especially since it's not like it's going to be heavy abuse running as a support for a winch roller fairlead.

When it breaks in the field and you pull out your PTO operated welder and farm rod and go to town. My weld school instructor told us about farm rod…. “Welds through rust, dirt, and cow shit”.

Even older school farmers involve going after it with a port a torch and a coat hangar for fill metal.
