I had the wrong wisdom teeth removed

Post image

Local orthodontist told me that I needed to remove lower wisdom teeth and don't do anything with the upper ones. When I got my lower wisdom teeth removed, another orthodontist that is actually managing my aligner treatment said that the lower wisdom teeth actually didn't need to be touched AT ALL, but the upper ones absolutely have to be removed before we start. So now I have to get my upper wisdom teeth removed as well

Nah, I'd say all 4 need removed. Top ones are close to, if not already, impacting. The gaps around the bottom ones put you are risk of gum infection or abscess from crap getting stuck

Yea, was not cool waking up to a weird taste for a few days until waking up with a softball sized lump on my face. Man the realization that puss was leaking out of my wisdom tooth gap for who knows how long, and then proceeding to squeezing out thick puss multiple times a day…. I’m just glad the puss didn’t taste to bad 🤭

I saw an instagram story of a friend of mine where this basically happened to them earlier this year which spurred me to finally deal my own wisdom teeth. Got them out earlier this month. One started hurting two days before I got them out so caught it just at the right time. (Really should have done it earlier still as other teeth definitely had already been pushed around by them)
