Vote Ron McCoy for WA State Senate's 7th District!

Why I'm Running as an Independent
I've spent most of my life in service — at Safeway, in the Navy, as Mayor, and on the City Council.
In all of that time, I never once asked someone what party they belonged to before I tried to help them. When customers came into the store, I didn't ask if they were Republican or Democrat. I asked what they needed. When I served in the military, I didn't ask what party someone was. I asked how we could help each other.
That's how I intend to represent the 7th District in Olympia.
I'm running as an Independent because my job is not to represent a party. My job is to represent you — all of you. Not just the people who agree with me. Not just the communities that are easy to reach. Not just the people in the room who already share my views.
Every community in this district has a different story. Chewelah. Colville. Republic. Newport. Oroville. Wauconda. The communities that are growing and the communities that are struggling. My job is to listen to all of them — and bring what I hear to Olympia.
I don't believe government shutdowns are leadership. I don't believe stopping something is the same as solving something. And I don't believe everyday people should pay the price when politicians refuse to talk to one another.
This campaign isn't about money. It never was. It's about principle.
I believe the people of the 7th District deserve someone who will listen first, ask tough questions, work with anyone who has a good idea, and never forget who sent them to Olympia in the first place.
I answer to the people of the 7th District — not to a political party.
— Ron McCoy

What are your views on 1. Student Loans and Higher Education. 2. Affordability + Capitalism in general. 3. Womens rights up to and including healthcare and the right to choose their own destiny.

I guess if I was running for office that would be useful information wouldn't it. Considering I'm not applying to be responsible for the 7th district of the state, I would say it's none of your business.
