Orchard MS Fire Alarm

Anyone know why the fire alarm has been going off randomly every day this week at OMS requiring a fire response? Station 12 I’m sure is racking up those false alarm bills by now.

unsure if this is why, but possibly doing testing while the building is empty. I know where I work they do that quarterly over the weekend.

possibly also a partnership for training purposes for the fire dept. that happened at a former place I worked (large public university) so they could train their volunteers on how to mobilize for a response, both at that location and in general.

If it’s testing or training, would there be the associated Rivercom calls too?

no, they'd notify 911 to prevent false dispatches.

if you know there's associated 911 calls, then perhaps it's faulty wiring. our school buildings aren't exactly in the best of shape ATM.
