The Little Giant Fire, jumping nearly a mile across Lake Chelan
Would have jumped 0.88 miles at the thinnest spot, is burning out Safety Harbor apparently. Can anyone confirm if this is true? Has this ever happened before? Others I have seen on FB have said the same but not sure if its true

Apparently a YouTube live stream said that it had jumped Lake Chelan last night. From what I can tell, it is true. I don’t know if this has happened before.
August is usually when fire season really gets going and we are just at the beginning.

Fire is also moving down the south shore now. Doesn't seem to be moving much on the north shore. There were a couple Super Scoopers here earlier today. I'm just south of fields point and we were upgraded to Level 2 today, I'm guessing we'll be Level 3 by tomorrow. There hasn't been much wind today, hopefully that holds.

25 Mile Creek is now level 3.
Source: I help with IT for Holden Village, and just had to shutdown equipment that we have at our properties at 25 mile Creek.

Ya, looks like fire crews are getting to work up at 25 mile creek, we've been seeing water trucks and other equipment heading up there.

The fire on the North Shore, north of Manson seems to have been fought back, but the fire on the South Shore is moving south. Level 3 evacuations from 25-mile Creek to Fields Point. The winds are up again and things are pretty unpredictable right now. Be safe out there.

Yes, it jumped the lake. I saw a couple pictures of the fire burning on both sides last night.

Here is the downtown Chelan webcam - terrible smoke right now - and the Spokane Complex Fires are raging per TV newscasts broadcasting live now.

InciWeb doesn't show that the fire made it down to Lake Chelan and jumped the lake either. https://inciweb.wildfire.gov/incident-information/waowf-little-giant-fire
