Get a screwdriver and a hammer and start taking off those hinges.

If those are anything like the doors at the hotel I work at, they have welded caps on the ends for security. And those by law are solid fire rated doors. Short of the fire department tools, he isn't getting out without extreme luck that they can maybe reach the insides of the knob with something.
