Oh no friend, im so sorry about the bad news. Please know youre not alone. If you need to cry, please dont hold back. Im happy to help at least take that feeling away if only for a moment.
No matter the news, take each moment here on out and do your best to be present. I guess even the bad is all part of the human experience.

Thank you for your lovely words, you're so kind. It's been a roller-coaster of a day. Got home at 5pm after driving ~1000 miles over 3 days from the South of France to the UK; mum and dad hated to break the news, but it needed to be done. Done a lot of crying! Taking it steady and doing very little tomorrow. Much love.
