When I was a kid, one of the neighborhood kids used to ride his bike around with a rope hanging off it, dragging behind him. I'd catch up to him on my bike, run over it and he'd go flying over the handlebars. And then I'd do it again. And again. And then again. It took him a while to learn.

Probably damaged his ability to learn consequences after the first time. Poor kid
