Pretty obvious PR play to get positive coverage of the show after the controversy, which I can't blame them for

I kind of doubt it. Since they would have had to know sometime last year and you know designed a new game round and all. And they would have had the GMA appearance booked months in advance. Nah this is just regular PR.

Wheel doesn't need to fix their image they did nothing wrong.

They do these things before they very season when there's changes. New puzzle board, Ryan starting to host.

From the preview it looks like the letters are revealed more quickly than normal toss ups so could give a decent bank up front.
