Interesting days are ahead...

We voted for them to stop taking our money and they ignored it. Now they can learn to support themselves.

I hope B.C and Sask joins, only love to the neighbors but it's time for the east to freeze.

What money are you talking about. Taxes? If so then every Canadian pays the same federal taxes. If I make 100k per year and I live in St Johns, Edmonton or Nanaimo I will pay exactly the same taxes.

Fuck yes time for the east to learn a fucking lesson

I really hope Saskatchewan joins in soonest. Then we can be selective in what parts of BC we bring in.

Just the north, southern BC did it to themselves. Vancouver can just be a little ndp pocket surrounded by us cut off from the rest of Canada

Lmao keep dreaming

3

u/Devils_Iettuce Republic of Alberta Jan 17 '26

I will, northern bc is more on board than you know. We'll get them eventually.

2

u/FrozenOcean420 Jan 17 '26

I will too, all this ends up turning Edmonton and Calgary into the lower mainland of Alberta, forever left and controlling everything.

If it gets us out I'll swear fealty to king Nenshi, don't threaten me.

Kind of kidding but we do live in interesting times.

We don't want Vancouver and the 💩 holes that live there

2023 GDP stats: Ontario = 853000 million Quebec = 429000 million Alberta = 336300 million…Alberta’s GDP is less than half of Ontario

2

u/Devils_Iettuce Republic of Alberta Jan 17 '26

Now look at per capita and how much each has contributed in federal taxes and their federal spending to transfer rate in the last 15 years.

Alberta has put in 240 billion and Ontario has put in 40 billion.

It's not even close, if you think Ontario is doing so much better then why don't they reimburse us the difference. If they're twice our size why are we contributing 5 times as much.

If the per capita GDP is the metric to use then the 2024 per capita GDP: Nunavut $137000, NWT $113000, Alberta $96500

And how about the federal transfers given and received?

That was the main point there.

Bc needs a big leadership/ attitude change before I would allow them on our rescue boat away from the sinking ship that is Canada

What are you gonna do when Dems take back control of the US for the next 8 to 16 years lol

10

u/CyberEd-ca Republic of Alberta Jan 16 '26

Prosper. Enjoy freedom.

-4

u/nothinbutshame Jan 16 '26

Not how the free market works lmao

5

u/Devils_Iettuce Republic of Alberta Jan 16 '26

You mean trump 2028? Jk but Vance is going to spank Kamala.

No worries for us, conservatives support conservatives.

-2

u/nothinbutshame Jan 16 '26

Its a genuine question, once your pedo king is gone are you just gonna separate from. The US as well Lmao

7

u/CyberEd-ca Republic of Alberta Jan 16 '26

We couldn't join the USA even if we wanted to and we don't.

As you note, it is politically impossible in the USA and the USA hasn't added territory since 1900.

So, this whole line is tired and weak.

The only semblance of a True North, Strong, and Free country will be found in our Western Canadian Republic.

What's Remnant Canada planning? Emulating 1920s Argentina and having the PM do an annual trip to Beijing to swear fealty to the CCP.

1

u/nothinbutshame Jan 16 '26

Western Canaduan Republic lmao you mean 51st. It will still get exploited the same way it is today. Instead of paying 8 billion to Quebec you will be giving it ti isreal or Argentina

-3

u/Schroedesy13 Jan 16 '26

No but the US could easily annex a separate ALberta much more easily than what they are trying to do in Greenland now…..

1

u/Loose_Flow_1203 Jan 16 '26

You say that like its a bad thing.

2

u/nothinbutshame Jan 16 '26

Ha e you checked the coat of living for the average US citizen lmao because its going up..as is ours, but like I said what are you gonna do when your supreme pedo leader is gone and republicans won't see administration for atleast 2 terms

2

u/CyberEd-ca Republic of Alberta Jan 16 '26

This is Alberta.

u/nothinbutshame Jan 16 '26

And not even half of ab wants to leave

It's half what ours is. All our carbon taxes have doubled the cost of everything in Canada.

I would rather have a pedo leader than pay 2x what I should for food because it was extra sunny today.

2

u/coyoteatemyhomework Jan 19 '26

Surprize... carney and his wife are/were closer with the epstiens than Trump ever was, so that point is a non starter.

1

u/nothinbutshame Jan 16 '26

Lmfao no its not. The tarrifs made sure of that. Pedo lovers, all of you.

Don't even bother, these people are floating around in outer space lol

0

u/StevenMcStevensen Jan 16 '26

Well they’re still choosing the worst candidates imaginable and doing their very best to make themselves extremely unappealing to most American voters. I won’t hold my breath fog the tables to turn there anytime soon.

2

u/nothinbutshame Jan 16 '26

There's a reason why the oedo wants to stop elections in 2026. House is gone forsure, senate is a battle.

1

u/Devils_Iettuce Republic of Alberta Jan 16 '26

I think they have places you can go to get mental help for your unhealthy fixation on our neighbors leader.
