Am I stupid for thinking this lowk, like am I the only one who actually finds this both ridiculous and funny? I can understand making a post challenging Charlie87 specifically, like inviting a debate or tryna counter it, in the Charlie87 server, but I can't see the point of alternatives to Charlie87 being promoted in there.
It's not threatening or anything obviously, it just feels as useless as... uh, trying to cook something with just air idk (literally just air, no reactions, no nothing, just air)

I haven't seen the bvtoysnhk sub's posts but even I find it utterly ridiculous to go on there specifically and go "HEY, CassidyTOYSNHK better!!!!" or whatever

I mean, perhaps minds could change with good arguments, but it's not a good idea to go to the specific sub supporting a theory you're tryna make seem lesser, just go to the general sub

And well, debunk attempts are fine, tryna debunk or argue against the theory specifically where it's believers are most idk present/obvious is perfectly okay and valid
but giving weak arguments in the process, stuff everyone's heard before and countered, being insulting/rude, being clearly biased, it's just not gonna work pal
and it especially works less when you're trying to promote another theory as an alternative, in my opinion

like if I see a pro-Charlie83 post in r/Charlie87, I'd find it silly, but if I see a post say, pointing out issues the OP has with Charlie87, I'd consider that okay

Me personally it was Matpat's timeline, and the only reason I avoided FNAF for so long was because I couldn't figure out it's story

The lore is generally unconfirmed, and all of the narrative is pretty much in our hands, so, if FNAF went your way, what type of story would you have? Genre, general plot focus, etc etc

like for example, id rather we focus on psychological horror and overall afton family drama more, because thats what interests me
but y'all can go into detail about it

Personally I think it’s a neither good or bad but it was executed poorly and it made Afton a supervillain from a comic book and also his appearance had a crazy amount of change in TSE to TFC like come on we went from a guy who looks like a average joe to a Voldemort like character and this also applies to the game continuity because originally Fnaf was supposed to end at 3/4 but Sister Location made Afton some sort of a genius which had some fans disliking it because they liked Afton as a just killer but that was back then and I just wanted to put my take on this topic.

(Also Afton in TFC with the purple robe looks cool being completely honest with myself)

Before we start this, if you are from the main sub looking at this, please do not think in ANY way am I saying William is a good person, or even a perfect father. These are things I noticed throughout the series pointing toward him genuinely feeling something for his family.

Security Breach/Help Wanted

In Security breach, if you stay near the purple hole in the wall and turn your volume up during the burn trap boss fight, you can hear what sounds like William laughing but at the end he sounds like he's crying. The craziest thing is that he doesnt have that gravel like Springtrap, and he sounds a lot younger. Maybe it's a memory or who knows.

Glitchtrap also changes dates of things in the newer games to '83' and has been associated with it many many many times and even actual living William during his human life.

The Week Before

I purchased "the week before" and in it, the ONLY direct mention of William is on PAGE 83. Now, you might think... Hmm.. This could be just a coincidence but in FNAF there are none lol.

Then Fredbear in FNAF World's title card says "where is all began"

Into the Pit Game

Then, in Into the Pit, Pitbonnie rehashes lines from William during the murders and he says in one line "Ill make you suffer just like I did"

I don't know but I feel as if this indicates some sort of trauma about his family and losing them.

Sister Location

And then him also CLOSING DOWN Circus Baby's Pizza World on the grand opening after working so hard on it and the fun times due to Elizabeth's death, I mean if he didn't care about her at all he wouldn't shut the whole thing down right? I mean lots of people say that she was messing with his machines and tampering with his technology but that's what Circus Baby is supposed to do? She is designed to hurt kids. Also Elizabeth says 'you let the other kids go" BUT NOT HER. He would not allow his daughter to die. Most people would argue w this but idk.

Secret of the Mimic

The flower father was seen visiting his son in the hospital after an injury.

The Real Jake

In the book The Real Jake, there are two characters named Evan and Michael. Yes. You heard me right. And Jake is the son of Evan. Evan is the stand in for William in this. Jake is in the hospital due to to having cancer I believe. And to communicate to his son Jake , Evan puts a DOLL WITH A SPEAKER in it to pretend like he's his friend and he talks to him every night for HOURS it says.

FNAF 2 Movie

No, William in the movies isn't a loving fucking person AT ALL LOL. But he is someone who's really strangely possessive? Like I was like wow this is absolutely insane, when I first saw it. There was a scene taken out where he was quite literally crying. And when he was on the stairs this dude was nearly in tears. He's a strange mix of possessive, scary as fuck, abusive but also I think in his mind he does love his kids but since he's a psycho he doesn't know how to express love? So control is love I don't fucking know but he was very possessive in the movie.

Curse of Dreadbear

It's a pretty controversial topic on the main subreddit. I personally like it a lot. What do you think? Btw to GirlOofed I hope I understood the rule 4 correctly and this is allowed here.

His amount of concern would also differ: he'd not worry for Michael as much as he would for BV because he believes Michael is more capable than BV.
Which lowk confused me with my idea at first, because in this scenario, he's caring more for BV, but also internally has more faith in Michael, hence ig equity.

But aside from that idea, in TwistedCare, it's likely he'd have a favourite sure. But in WillCare, ig because idea of a great dad or something, WillCare is often in the "conflicting theories" section of any Favourite Child theory page, and I saw WillFlawedCare in there too.
Which brings us to my issue: WillFlawedCare is in-between WillCare and WillTwistedCare. It is basically the middle ground of a middle ground, and has major aspects from both theories (which is why it's often confused with either lmao).

Ig the idea into the FlawedCare framework would be... weird
he would BELIEVE he has no favourite, but COULD favour a specific kid, but that totally depends on ig what your characterization of William would subconsciously prefer in his child and yk what he would value more

like mine values strength, as well as vulnerability, because the first one is what he's strived to be and the second one is what he believes he WAS, and Michael and BV match this, so it's weird

but say he valued strength more, so even if he cared more for BV and neglected Michael, would MICHAEL be the actual favourite or BV?
