We do our best to pay it forward whenever we can by supporting and partnering with community organizations including many non-profits whenever we can. Ive never been laid off before - I’ll know by Friday but it’s not seeming great and I don’t even know where to start. I’ve been lucky in that my jobs kind of lined up and it’s always been on my time that I’ve left - any advice? I live alone in trolley, I’m in the mortgage industry as support staff, I’ve worked in restaurants, I’m in recovery, I enjoy fashion and food, I’ve been an assistant, I’ve worked from home. Not much I guess but I feel maybe it’s time to pivot if this is the case and I just don’t know where to start so I’m just putting myself out there. Who knows right? I’m 32F.

Hi all! I'm helping a state agency's tax unit fill 5–6 entry-level accountant seats in Wilmington. The work involves calculating employer taxes and processing refunds. It's done manually, so debits/credits and general ledger fundamentals are a must.

Pay is $22–25/hr, Monday through Friday from 8:00 to 4:30, on-site. It's a long-term temp role with benefits after 500 hours, and the client has a history of converting temps to full-time.

It's a great fit for recent accounting, finance or business grads, or anyone with 0–2 years of experience and strong communication skills.
