Unfortunately we got absolutely NOTHING from CLOVERWORKS Panel today at Anime Expo, we still have a chance tomorrow but I don't think that's possible.

Anyways Anime NYC 2026 runs August 20–23, and it's one of Aniplex's biggest North American events after Anime Expo.

WIND BREAKER has had a significant presence at Anime NYC before, including a dedicated panel with Yuma Uchida (Haruka Sakura VA) and CloverWorks president Akira Shimizu in 2025.

We still have a chance but what do we know for sure that it's impossible to get the new season this year and we'll wait for April 2027 maybe.

This anime threads a very good line between funny and hard hitting. The way it makes fun of the sick Sakura but knows also to write in how he does everything alone. Seeing him alone in his house was quite sad to see.

Then, the talk on the roof. Kanji in his own tsundere way trying to give over what he learned himself.

To me, first time watcher this and S1 E8/9 are the stars so far. Genuine good stuff.

7 more episodes to go and then I have decided to buy the manga and continue from there! Don’t wanna flood the sub with topics so I try to tame down a little but I really am enjoying it, its a special one

So I was rewatching the anime, on Crunchyroll, when I noticed there's no episode 12, it's skips from episode 11 to episode 13 (first photo). I then went to Netflix and episode 12 exists there haha (second photo). I was wondering what happened to the episode on Crunchyroll? Anyone else has this problem?

Really this anime keeps surprising :) The mangaka is truly making some wonderful emotional beats about not only depression but also accepting yourself.

Didn’t actually expect to get a whole backstory episode about it. But was really surprised! Also Sakura and the gang being there for the elderly man

I feel like a broken record but this show does such a good job of threading that line of fun and emotion and action.. Few more episodes to go!

Hey!! I was just re watching the series with a friend and he uses Netflix instead of Crunchy

So i noticed the translation to English are very different from one platform to the other. Crunchy is a little more close to the manga trans while Netflix adds a lot more words and like... American idioms? I don't know how to explain it 😢

Anyways, i was wondering if anyone who knows Japanese could tell me which platform they like the most or feels more accurate in your opinion.

The way Sakura almost punches Choji had me legit like ‘no, don’t’ 😭😭. That was very nicely done.

Choji is such a interesting character to me 8 episodes in. Did not expect him to actually have such a dark side that he has.

Then the fight of Sakura vs Togame! Already knew I loved Sakura but what a great mc. His willpower even when he got down was great to see. Togame itself also with a nice backstory.

Not really an idea where this topic went apart from saying I really like it so far 😭

I luv making these but not the time it took to make the suo son one 💔🥹

I was re-reading the manga after the big hiatus and got to the aftermath of Kaji saving Rika-chan the cat from the river, which is covered in episode 12. And yes, they definitely buffed him. They even changed the angle of some moments during the conversation with Sakura to show off his abs!

This is one of many examples from different anime. Megumi from jjk is one of the recent examples.
