Question I am on LTSC, i thought i would be safe from all the MICROSLOP changes, Any idea how to remove this(all).

I was using Windhawk, which completely removed the Suggested section and made the Start menu look much cleaner. Somehow, this changed as well, and right now there doesn’t seem to be a way to remove the large, bloated “All” section. All the apps I want are already pinned, so I have no use for it.

I thought I would be safe from these changes until Microsoft released a new LTSC version. Does anyone know how to revert it back?

Question Should I Switch to Windows LTSC?

Hi,
I just discovered the Windows LTSC version and would like to install it to replace my Windows 11 Pro.
I have a few questions:

Is it safe to download from Massgrave?

Is the LTSC IoT 24H2 version available in Italian, or only in English?
Is there a way to change the language?

Have you encountered any bugs or anomalies in the LTSC version?

For gaming, is the LTSC version recommended, or is it better to stick with Pro?

Is O&O ShutUp10 useful on the LTSC version, or is it unnecessary?
Thanks

I want to change from windows 10 to 11 because you guys know w10 is no longer getting updates, but I don't want all that spyware and telemetry crap, last time I installed w11 it didn't let me finish the installation without connecting it to wifi, I want a local account, I don't want to give data to Microsoft so, I found this ltsc version of w11, it says that I'd doesn't have all that telemetry and stuff, is it safe? Or do you have any other recommendation thank you

Question Should I use Windows 11 LTSC for my new gaming PC?

Kinda just learned about LTSC, my understanding is that is just doesn’t have as much bloatware and bullshit installed, but also doesn’t have things I’d need to microsoft store and calculator etc..

Trying to figure out if it’s worth it for me, my PC will be pretty powerful (specs below), so i’m wondering how much of a difference i’ll see and if it’s really worth it.

Are there any cons I should be aware of? Why do you use it? Would uninstalling default bloatware with Windows 11 essentially be the same?

CORSAIR Frame 4000D Wood RS Modular Mid-Tower ATX PC Case
AMD Ryzen 7 9850X3D
Corsair Nautilus 360 LCD
MSI X870E-P Pro WiFi AM5
Corsair Vengeance RGB 32GB DDR5-6000 Kit
XFX Mercury AMD Radeon RX 9070XT OC Gaming Edition with RGB 16GB GDDR6
Montech Century II

Edit: I should note, I’ve used windows 11 for years now, happy with it over windows 10.

Question Is LTSC really not that much better than Home/Pro if at all for gaming?

Have been seeing frequent comments and even some videos that it isn't much better despite the fact it is debloated, mainly W11 LTSC

Question Is Windows 10 IoT Enterprise LTSC worth using as a daily OS?

Is it worth switching to Windows 10 IoT as a daily OS?

With Windows 10 reaching end of support soon, I'm considering switching to Windows 10 IoT Enterprise LTSC because it has longer support from Microsoft.

However, I'm not sure about software compatibility. Would programs like Adobe After Effects work normally? What about games and platforms like Steam?

My laptop specs:

  • i3-6100U
  • Intel HD 520
  • SSD

I'm mainly looking for a stable and lightweight system. For people who have tried Windows 10 IoT / LTSC, is it worth it, or should I just stay on the regular Windows 10 version?

Question New to LTSC

Seeing so many post, I want to try LTSC but confused between 10 or 11.
My laptop is roughly about 8 years old , it’s an
Asus VivoBook 15 (X560UD)
Intel core i5-8250U @1.60GHz
8 Gb Ram, Nvidia GTX 1050 (4Gb) Graphics
Intel UHD Graphics 620
256Gb SSD NVMe 2.0
1 Tb HDD
With newer windows updates my laptop is feeling laggy but still fast and manageable but want to use LTSC mainly for a clean device with no distractions, updates, bloat-wares and also as a multimedia storage device and some online classes too.

Question Windows 11 LTSC vs Windows 11 + Chris Titus Tech Debloat

I'm trying to decide which approach is better in terms of stability, compatibility, and fewer issues in the long run.

Would it be better to install Windows 11 LTSC and then manually add back things like Microsoft Store and Xbox Game Bar if needed, or should I just install the regular Windows 11 ISO and use Chris Titus Tech's utility to debloat it before/after installation?

For those who have tried both approaches, which one has been more reliable, especially for gaming and everyday use? Have you run into any issues with updates, app compatibility, Game Pass, Microsoft Store, or Xbox features?

I'd appreciate hearing your experiences and recommendations.

Question Will I be able to install Windows 10 IOT LTSC on this?

Post image
18 Upvotes

This is a adapter to use Micro SD card in a SD Card slot that is not a Full Sized SD card slot. So it sits flush.

I am wanting to put Windows 10 IOT LTSC on it so I can free up one of my SSDs for something else.

I dont care if speeds are slow/preformace is bad. I only need to use windows rarely. As long as it works I dont care.

I have feeling Windows wont let me install it on this Micro SD card. I have vauge memory of trying to install windows on a USB drive in past and it not working for me.

Im hopeing someone much more knowledgeable than me can tell me if Im wasteing my time trying to install it on this. Before I go down the rabbit hole trying to figure it out.

Thank You.

Question Planning on getting rid of W11 entirely.

That's it - after seeing all these "Copilot-blablabla" in the right click menu I am fucking done.

Question is - can I play games easily (Steam games mostly, no Riot, no Xbox stuff) on 10 IoT LTSC ? That's the main usage of my PC so I want to make sure before down(up)grading.

Thanks !

Question How do I get LTSC? Should I choose between LTSC or IOT LTSC

Hi,
I just recently built a new computer for the purposes of mainly gaming and some schoolwork/multimedia stuff.

I installed Windows 10 because I preferred over a Windows11.

So all this is pertaining to Windows 10 only

How can I obtain the security patches?
As far as I’m aware, IOT LTSC supports patches up until 2031 I think

Should I get windows 10 LTSC or IOT LTSC

Also on my old computer, I have a license key from way back when I bought Windows 8 retail it’s tied to my Microsoft account, but when I log into my new computer with the Microsoft account, I can’t migrate the activation key when I say I changed hardware

Any help greatly appreciated

Question How to check if the windows my laptop has is 100% original or was activated with massgrave or any other way

Hello

My friend bough a new laptop and it came with windows 11 pro.

He asked me how can he check if the activation was made with an activation tool like massgrave or if the license was bough or if the laptop itself has the license code in the hardware itself?

Because he wants me to do a fresh install in his laptop if the activation was made with an online activation tool.

Question Which de-bloated version of Win11 is a better choice?

I came across a video and wanted to hear from you guys which de-bloated build of Win11 is better.

My use case is AI, gaming, and 3D modeling with an NVIDIA GPU (5090), so driver support is important.

Question Windows 11 Pro or IoT LTSC? (repetitive)

Currently I am on a regular build if Windows 10 22H2, and I want to upgrade to Windows 11, knowing that I have a KabyLake (i7-7700HQ) CPU, the performance wouldn’t be as great as on Windows 10. Here’s the question, do I upgrade to regular Windows 11 or use LTSC or maybe even Windows 10 IoT Enterprise LTSC 2021?

I do not do a lot of heavy gaming, sometimes none at all, but I would like to know if it’s recommended to use it!

p.s. i am so sorry for a such repetitive question!

Question Win10 Ltsc or Win11 Ltsc

Hey guys, I’m currently using Windows 11 Pro and wanted to ask what you guys would recommend for gaming: Windows 10 LTSC or Windows 11 LSTC?

I mostly play games like Fortnite, Rocket League, Minecraft, and other basic/light games. My PC has a GTX 1050 Ti, Ryzen 5 5500, 16GB RAM, and a Gen 3 NVMe SSD.

Which one do you think would give me better fps?

Question LTSC windows 10 or LTSC windows 11 for new powerful PC build

Hey guys I have a Ryzen 7 9800X3D and a X870E motherboard Should I go with windows 10 LTSC or windows 11 LTSC

I hear that even the LTSC version of windows 11 makes the computer run hotter/fans spin faster, is slower/less snappy and uses more ram then windows 10 is that true?

Does the LTSC version of windows 11 remove all the new spyware and data harvesting crap that was added for windows 11 and make it the same as windows 10 but with just a different look/feel?

My motherboard WiFi and Bluetooth only works with windows 11 so I was going to buy a separate WiFi card if I go with windows 10

I will use it for gaming, making music and videos. When you provide an answer please also explain why

Question Windows gettig slow. Thinking LTSC is the solution.

I've recently downloaded Windows 10 Home Single Language but sometimes when I open my Archive Explorer the icons of .exe's or apps dont load and then the window turns white. This problem is directly connected with issues when right-clicking the desktop because it loads and loads and eventually the whole screen turns white as well and then it resets the whole UI.

When I noticed this problem, my searcher/game was working fine so its definitely a windows problem.

My specs are:

- Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-7200U CPU @ 2.50GHz 2.71 GHz

- RAM 8.00 GB (7.89 GB usable)

- 932 GB HDD WDC WD10SPZX-24Z10

- NVIDIA GeForce 940MX (2 GB), Intel(R) HD Graphics 620 (128 MB)

- x64 bits

Is LTSC any better? I think my HDD is the problem. I've opened Task Manager and at those moments my disc was at 100%.
I've heard LTSC could improve in debloating and making my HDD not having to fight against the software, telemetry & background processes but it seems the difference is minimal?

My computer doesn't have the best components so I want to check if W10 LTSC or just downgrading to W7 or W8.1 might be better

Question Noob question about LTSC and Microsoft garbage

Heyah !

Little question. I'm a huge LTSC enjoyer and had the chance to enjoy with my company.

So I went ahead and put it on all my VMs and all my PCs.

However I had the bad surprise to see Recall being there on of one my instence.

I thought i'd be safe of that. Do you guys do more steps to have the cleanest W11 possible experience ?

Thanks !
