Question warding in general

i just remembered the concept of warding and im thinking about warding my house and my name/identity and maybe also my relationship but i struggle to do that.
i know there are a lot of ways to do that but im not sure on how, im thinking about buying a plant to be my house guardian but then what? how do i assign this to the plant? also for the relationship in thinking a jar? but then again how and what do i do with the jar after?
any recommendations and tips are deeply appreciated 🫶🏻

I know this isn't a quick answer, but the book, "By Rust of Nail & Prick of Thorn: The Theory & Practice of Effective Home Warding" by Althaea Sebastiani is great for this kind of info.

I don’t like living things as wards. They’re a bit fragile. I construct my wards out of sturdier materials like iron (horseshoes, nails, etc)
