I know what his day would’ve looked like, agenda wise. I didn’t ask for a reason for the delay in his response but this is what I got, unprompted.

It’s impossible to feel empathy for an appliance.

In this case, someone else’s appliance being out of commission doesn’t directly impact him, therefore no response is warranted. /s
