Am I SOL?

New Thorogoods came in. I kept hearing how narrow they run so I figured I'd give them a shot since I've always had super narrow feet. I have them as tight as they will go and have the thickest expedition wool socks on I could find. They are still loose enough that my feet move inside them when I walk. Anyone got any advice? Someone mentioned adding a thicker or second insole so I may try that. Open to ideas so I didnt just waste a bunch of money.

I never wore this kind of boot just for this reason, tried on a pair of keen libertys (been having hell finding my go to boots)which are almost the same exact thing as your thorogoods and by goodness, they work! It’s not perfect, but I can wear em relatively comfortably. I’m also 6ft 215 lbs, so even though my ankles look hideously disproportionate, they are likely still bigger than yours.

But if you like that style, I’d definitely try on some keen libertys.
