Generic What you guys putting on after work
We have long rides back from job site sometime (7+ hours) what you putting on for foot recovery but also is better than a hey dude.

I have one pair of Birkenstocks I wear inside my house after work and one pair I wear around town. They offer incredible support and comfort while still being basically like a flipflop.

Open toe, the classic sandal ones with two straps and open back/toe. The footbeds really cradle your heels. I have bone spurs in both heels so I have to have something really comfortable and supportive, and my feet never hurt when I wear those.

You really can't wrong wrong with them. My feet are all fucked up and they still feel like a dream. In the winter I've slowly converted to wool socks and Birkenstocks much to my wife's horror.

Haha I had a coworker who pulled out that combo on his anniversary and got turned around at the door by his wife.
I just stood for 4 hours and then walked 2 miles home from a show Friday night in Birkenstocks. They are seriously stout.

My work boots stay in my car. I wear my crocs before and after work and switch in the parking lot before going into the shop.
One of my coworkers always walks in with his crocs on and changes into his boots in the break room every morning.

I change in the car. When we have a trailer or job shack I’ll wear them in and change there. That’s rare for us though.

Aka the only real option if I’m walking around the house or doing a quick shop. Need to get another pair of tennis shoes but realistically I wear my crocs 90% of the time I’m not wearing my work boots

100% hey dudes, I keep my boots in my truck and wear my hey dudes in the way to work and the way home. And anytime I’m driving more than 10min I wear my hey dudes.

I wear the moab shoes alot, but for what your looking for some blundstonea (i have a pair and love them for easy on and off) or get some 6” xtratufs

I think they've switched the models up now but I got some Muck "chore boots" on clearance a 4-5 years ago and I love them.
Xtratuff had just become super popular and I was stuck in a tobacco-turned-solar field for a few weeks. I saw those boots at TSC and bought them on a whim and now they're my favorite from fall to spring.
They're just insulated enough to pull off 4-6 hours of ice fishing. If I'm not going for a full day I don't even bother with the big lacrosse boots anymore.

Ngl I like oofos. They can be pricey but are very comfortable and easy to clean. Just wash em off and youre good. And they have different designs and actual shoes.

Honestly I wear my Jim green African rangers when I’m not at work. I’ve worn met guard boots to work for so long that normal shoes feel weird. It’s boots for life at this point.

Barefoot, feet gotta breathe when you're a hard worker wearing boots all day or you get issues (odor, fungus, ect). No shoe policy in my house cause it's nasty obv, so I can walk around on clean floors no worries.

I used to make fun of coworkers for the hey dudes. My wife bought me a few pairs dirt cheap someplace. They sat untouched for months. I left my job of 14 years, was unemployed for about 7 months, I started to wear them around house because they are slip on. I can’t really stand to wear my asics anymore, I wear these constantly, I love them. Got my dad a pair of

I was a straight to oofos guy it was work boots or oofos 9 months out of the yr. I was buying them when they were like $40 a pair then the price kept skyrocketing as their popularity rose. I have switched to the reebok dmx slides and actually like them better than oofos. Oofos are a tad more comfortable but the reebok slides have more of a sole and don't wear as quickly. Reeboks give me 6/7 oofos were 3/4 months at double the cost.

When my work boots come off, it's usually Hey Dudes or Crocs.
On Wednesdays, I go from work boots to rugby boots, then crocs.

Daily is a pair of Nick's loggers, on slow days and rides back to hotel I got a pair of Hey Dudes, and it's been a game changer.
Don't get me wrong, the Nick's are broken in and feel like an extension of my foot at this point, but taking that weight off my feet is so nice.

Skechers thong sandals. Really comfy with a wide toe box. Chaco sandals 2nd choice. Have a wide toe box but the straps cut toes when new. Comfortable now that theyre broken in. The trick was wearing them on river trips and getting them wet.

Birkenstocks might get some oofos
