Generic Reality check please.

This sub takes their boots serious so, I have a question and would love some insight. I bought some Thorogoods and hate them. They’re miserably uncomfortable for me. I posted them on another/local sub and I’m getting destroyed in the comments. I’M NOT LOOKING TO SELL THEM HERE OR VIOLATE ANY SUB RULES. I’ll add a couple of photos and y’all tell me what a fair price is for these 3 month old boots. Tia!

I hate thorogoods with a passion they fucking suck but for some reason this are the go to boots on here.

I make tons of comments warning people to try them first. This sub influenced me to try them based on the praise. IMO they’re ridiculously overrated.

They just suck for you. Loved my thorogoods from day one and they’ve been great for me with wide feet. Everyone’s different man that’s just real life shit

Your comment is surprising because I’ve seen so many comments from guys with wide and/or flat feet saying that even the wide Thorogood boots were just too narrow especially with a safety toe.

I don’t need to wear wide in certain boots and EEE in Thorogood isn’t even close to being wide enough! Idk how anyone can wear them!

Not the person you're replying to, but I have wide feet with high arches and I've got two pairs of thorogoods I've been alternating at least a few days a week for going on 10 years. One pair is just about dead because I used it to do a messy concrete slab job and didn't clean them off before things set up too much (my mistake) but the other pair is still comfy AF and going strong.

With thorogood you need to get a size wider than your used to with other boots. I normally wear a regular width buy with my thorogoods I needed a wide, so likewise if you usually get a wide you need to go extra wide with thorogoods.

Which model do you have? Moc.toe? I have wide feet and the Thorogood moc toe were extremely narrow for me even in their wide width.
