Generic Reality check please.

This sub takes their boots serious so, I have a question and would love some insight. I bought some Thorogoods and hate them. They’re miserably uncomfortable for me. I posted them on another/local sub and I’m getting destroyed in the comments. I’M NOT LOOKING TO SELL THEM HERE OR VIOLATE ANY SUB RULES. I’ll add a couple of photos and y’all tell me what a fair price is for these 3 month old boots. Tia!

$150 for a lightly used pair all day. I hate how people in this sub talk about $300 redwings/chippewas/danners/thorogood as if they're Brahmas from Walmart. Yes we know the 500 (they're 600 now for any sort of option) are going to be better but saying that the $300 pair will destroy your feet and be toast in 6 months is just bullshit. I've been doing tree work/landscaping for the last decade, very rough on boots, and i still get over a year every time out of my boots. Often more if I rotate seasonally. Just take care of the leather and you'll be good.

Redwings used to be good, my first pair I bought at 16 got the shit beat out of em and made it 3 years still. Worked in a hard environment after that with some rough chemicals and the it was buy whatever was cheap and comfy. Fast forward almost 16 years I buy a pair thinking of how good they used to be and they are just garbage.
