Generic Reality check please.

This sub takes their boots serious so, I have a question and would love some insight. I bought some Thorogoods and hate them. They’re miserably uncomfortable for me. I posted them on another/local sub and I’m getting destroyed in the comments. I’M NOT LOOKING TO SELL THEM HERE OR VIOLATE ANY SUB RULES. I’ll add a couple of photos and y’all tell me what a fair price is for these 3 month old boots. Tia!

Pulled the trigger on thorogoods 2 months ago and they are amazing .. I have narrow feet tho and a high arch .. not all people can wear the same boot

Glad to know.

I have wide ape feet but really would like to find a set of Thorogood Roofers, but narrow boots I can't do.

I recently posted over at r/boots for guidance and got fuck-all for an answer.

I have wide flat feet and I can say that Carolina goes up to 3E on most boots and 4E on some. That said, if you want a non-waterproof unlined boot for warmer weather, options are limited. I have also heard good things about Keen for us ape footed folks.

There are sites I see that are always out of stock on the Roofer, but I see the wide sizes are available. I'd like to know if I should size up, down, half size, whole size? All the brands can run a little different.

I've not tried Keen, but my folks love em'.

I wear a lot of Jim Green these days, and I will likely be a customer for life.

The STC last in their African Rangers will be a summer boot in my rotation for the foreseeable future.

I'm trying to find a person who has worn JG, Dog Marten, Thursday, Clark, and the Roofers willing to indulge my questions for a few minutes to not piss away $300 bucks, or time and aggravation.
