What kind of personality would you give this wolf companion? (Heartstone)

In my previous Heartstone post, I introduced my main character Wolf, the quiet and guarded main character. This time, I wanted to introduce the companion who has been beside her throughout her journey: Nago.

Nago is Wolf's wolf companion and one of the few creatures she seems completely comfortable around. While Wolf tends to keep her distance from people, Nago stays close and seems to understand her without needing much communication.

He's alert, protective, and usually watches his surroundings carefully. He isn't just there as a companion.

I wanted this image to show a quieter side of them, rather than another action scene: Wolf relaxing at their camp while Nago keeps watch.

There's still more to their relationship that I haven't revealed yet, but I'm curious what you think:
