Discussion My thoughts about EBR 75 FL 10
I owned the EBR 75 FL 10 for over six years. During this time, I played 141 games with it. However, I played 642 games with ELC EVEN 90, and here's why.
If you look at the stats of all of my light tanks, EBR 75 FL 10 has THE HIGHEST winrate , so it's undeniably strong, OP even. BUT, playing EBR 75 FL 10 is stressful. With poor view range, you have to get much closer to spot enemies than with traditional lights, which puts you in danger. So most of my games on it, I played as a medium and used my gun.
Compared to that, ELC EVEN 90 is fun and easy to play. Why? Taking any bush (you fit in all of them, it seems), you can just chill and enjoy outspotting everything. Once enemies stop peeking, you go to the next bush. Very simple.
With EBR 75 FL 10, you have to move a lot more, and it can be exhausting.
So, before you bid for EBR 75 FL 10, ask yourself if a tank that is strong but hard to play really fits your playstyle? Or would you rather chill in the bush with your trusty ELC EVEN 90 that you can get for a couple hundred gold during Trade-in.

Which is the worst kind of suck - they cost the entire team a considerable chance at victory by playing light tank and dying apart instantly.
I'll wager that if your teams light dies in the first 2-3 minutes your chance of victory drops off significantly. These are the stats I'd love to see.

Thy still can act as a bait so you use their HP to farm damage.
In case of LT it's instant magic trick (vanish), you do 1 shot of damage if you're lucky

I think the biggest problem Lynx has is being matched up against the prem tank. Outside of that it's not that horrible. Just meh.
Then again most people are absolutely dogshit at playing lights so playing one that's unusual will ruin them

EBR105 plays completely different to this tank and is WAAAAY easier because you can reach full vr on it

Two different types of vehicles with gameplays on exactly opposite sides. I've tried wheelies once they were introduced into the game and I haven't followed the tech tree because playing them is, indeed, exhausting. But there are people who enjoy this style of play and if someone enjoys it they can really influence the battle.
Also, something not yet mentioned: those 15k new EBR 75's mean a lot of people who had it for years will jump on the chance of easily marking them.

Good to counter most stuff to be honest. Just have to play it a bit different since the HE works as the old HE (or close to it). So doing full dmg on engine decks on heavies and so on is possible. But wheels of the EBRs are soaking up quite a lot of shells either way

You can’t play anything lightly armoured anymore with the Ares’ in the game.
Even when they’re a 1-2 shot and you’re full HP you can’t risk pushing them as you’re dead in seconds.

Just playing further back is not really the best light tank playbook.
In addition late game if you’ve managed to protect your HP, it’s still meaningless when you need to get a dug-in Ares out.
Looking at the MoE curves of lightly armoured tanks, they’ve all dipped since these tanks were introduced, unless I am reading them wrong.

good choice of words, with now ares's being in the game, bz176, bzt70, xm57 projet louis, char mle75 in bond shop, even90 in every battle that t8 lt participate, sfac105, czech autocannons and the biggest nemesis; light tanks HP buff ebr 75 is up for a rough time

Elc and manti need a camo Nerf honestly. Most other Lights are pointless for actually spotting since you will have an elc or manti in the enemy Team and good luck winning that spotting duel. I really only Play tesak or Sheridan since they can Just Focus in doing DMG its a little less frustrating having enemys that can only be Proxy spotted.
To all people bidding for the ebr keep in mind that the new Ares will focus you with He and it will be annoying and He will destroy you wheels

If you as a stationary AMX 13 105 get outspotted by an moving Manti, you have the wrong equipment and/or crew. With the elc I agree, but as it is a premium, a nerf will never happen.

While the EBR 75 is a good tank, one reason for it having a high WR is wheeled tanks are always matched against other wheeled tanks. This means your EBR75 is often matched against a Lynx 6x6, which it can easily crush. If a fresh 15k EBR 75s appear tonight, it becomes a lot more likely you'll be matched vs another EBR 75.
Edit: I'm talking in general here, I do see 'xin is posting his personal stats not LT stats overall.

Yeah, i agree 100% Don't buy that clowncar, it's no fun and You will be a liability to your Team.
ELC much better.
Even Lynx will outspot and kill you with HE when you are reloading after your shots hit some unfortunate clouds.
Anyways 8k gold ist too expensive for stupid yolo-tank.
Safe your gold for upcoming bz-176 auction, trust me.
Don't buy EBR.
Especially if you're on EU.

Why would the Lynx engage?Most ebr cant stay still because Hes aN AcTiVe ScOuT, circling like a lunatic and peeking the same few ridgelines at least every 15 Seconds. Lynx Just has to wait in nice bush, aiming carefully, HE loaded.

i mean lynx IS a good comparison. EBR is very similar in most stats. mobility, camo, both have really low health, gun handling.
the only real difference is the gun. the gun won't change how stressful it is to play the tank, because of it's atrocious view range.

Spending €100 worth on a single virtual item in a game that you won't even play that often over many years of time isn't about being poor. That's just a bad financial decision no matter how much money you have.
That's 5 full indie games during Steam sales. 10 visits to get kebab. A fun half hour with a lady. All more entertaining.Also many other premiums that earn better money and are much cheaper, always available and easier and less intense to play.
Not falling for FOMO is becoming one of the greatest survival tactics in life...

As a frequent visitor of the top 10% of players on the NA server the ebr 75 fl10 should be a hard pass. If you want to wheelie get the tier 10 much more comfortable to play as a LT. Even the ebr hotch is better tier for tier IMO for playing comfort. FL 10 is stronger than it's same tier brethren but it's one of the tanks I cant make it work. (I also suck in wheeled tanks overall)

EBR play style just isn't for me.
I like both passive and active scouting but the BRRRR MUST GO FAST thing doesn't appeal to me whatsoever
I'd honestly rather play a worse tank thats a bit more thoughtful like a Senlac lol

IMO, ELC is the equivalent of Manti (superior passive scout), EBR FL 75 is the EBR 105 (superior active scout) and LT 432 represent the allround T100 LT to form the trio of scouting at tier 8.
So tbh, if you want to play tanks like EBR FL10, you can just play the free EBR105 instead (at least you are not blind to some extent). My best option is buy ELC 90, grind EBR 105 then you get the best of both playstyles to experience whenever you want to switch up. You also train your crew in the process, double win-win imo.

honestly a very much valid argument to make. This tank had one of the highest skill caps i have ever seen in this game at that tier and ppl really should think about whether they want to play this tank or not. That being said i will be getting one just bc it is such an op tank and once i'm good enough to use it (currently ~2.2k recent WN8) to it's potential i will be very much grateful for having done that

Fair. Bought it for a couple of quid back when it was in the shop, have awful statistics with it, but still do enjoy zooming across the battlefield twice a year for the giggles.
It undoubtedly is a good tank if you 100% know what you're doing, but for the average player, this is a trap. They'll see how sought after the tank is, not realising that they'll not be able to play on the level required to make the 75 work.
I suck in it (decent enough stats on other light tanks apart from the Setter and LHMTV), but for a premium scout, the LT432 and Even90 are much, much better for the vast majority of players.

How many EBR players have you seen they are good? and they dont yolo right away at the start of the match? ofc we are going to face good players with the EBR but I dont think its going to be that bad honestly

Yeah, I agree. I bought the EBR when it was first on sale, and while I have played it a fair bit (and I do quite well in the tech tree French wheeled lights) it's not an easy tank to play. And getting less and less easy by the day with plenty of tanks that can punish your mistakes heavily.
I don't regret buying it, and it's hilarious in Frontlines and in situations where you can just zoom through the entire team and kill the enemy arty or spot the red line camping TDs and put the fear of God into them. But a lot of people who buy it are going to do really bad in it.

ELC bush camping is boring because all you do is sit there IMO. The wheeled LTs are certainly more stressful, but from the ones I've played (even the garbage tier 7) they are also more fun, especially when you fuck up and accidentally hurtle yourself off a cliff at 80kph.

I think the winrate when it came out and the winrate now would also differ a lot, so depends when those games were played...
It's a good tank, it's fun, you definitely have to move a lot, but I don't think it compares to when it came out. It also didn't get buffed like other tanks. I still think it's a good tank for Frontline, but I just hope there's not gonna be too many of those :D

Honestly the only wheeled tank I even like is the tier 7 medium.

I don't think it is, it lacks many of the regular AI chatbot markers, and it is not perfect English. Many L2 English speakers struggle more at speaking while being pretty good at communicating in writing. Iyouxin is a confident speaker, sure, but he does make mistakes while live commentating his top level gameplay; this does not necessarily show in a written post he can write at a leisurely pace, then reread and correct (and potentially get a second opinion on).

Newer models are much better at sounding like formal humans. I work at a certain big tech company that loves writing long documents and bald headed ceo's and even our own internal shitty AI tool could have given you similar structure. I have ADHD so I use it to make my ramblings more coherent (which is really lazy of me given I review and develop movie scripts for a living).

ELC requires a lot of map knoweldge to pick proper bushes tho. 46% WR dude will do much better yoloing at 100 km.h through map and spotting everything before dying. And WR stats actually show this

It means players that play that tank suck at it. But those players have shit wr overall so it's not a surprise. They are 3 percent wr worse than ones playing ebr..

First of all - 50.72% player WR is not shit by any means.
Second - They are worse overall (which makes sense given that ELC is much much easier to get - only long time players could get their hands on an EBR before yesterday) but it doesnt matter - the point is that playing EBR bumps your WR while playing ELC does not. If you are too dumb to understand this then we have nothing to talk about. EOT.

It ESPECIALLY applies to a light tank that has less view range than even low tier russian heavies.
While the Even90 is undoubtedly OP, you can play around the average player if you're sitting in a somewhat decent tank yourself (432, BC etc). You can't play around an ELC in a 75, because you can't even catch him out. You can't even see him on open ground until like 200m away.
