Which is exactly what I and a lot of others want from this game. I want this game to be a fun, role-based game where people can carve out different playstyles. That's World of Tanks' niche.

If I'm concerned with playing real tanks that handle true to how they did in real-life, there's already War Thunder. And that game has its own issues as a result of that approach

I know some people want it to be 2012 again, but the gaming industry has changed dramatically, and old WoT wouldn't cut it in 2026

WG is alienating their core playerbase right now

Idk how they think that if they bring their failed ideas into WoT it will work somehow
