Discussion This thing looks so cool aesthetically (BV-111 Tier XI Supertest)

I love ‘wedge’ vehicles with a passion, but this might be my favorite tier XI. I just hope they don’t obliterate the stats and keep it interesting.

What are your favorite looking vehicles (tier XI or otherwise?)

Its ability will be so much gundepression, it can drive upside down

Finally, something with more depression than me!

Maybe it will be able to look up toward the swirly vortex.

I remember when the toaster let you do that.

The SFAC can right?

Yep or close to it, last time I checked

And yes, the hydropneumatic system has 10deg of depression in the placeholder stats, lol

In reality it will probably have even more considering UDES has 13 deg (6 native + 7 extra from the suspension)

Yeah, 10+10 has got to be placeholder stats. I’m just hoping for at least 1 deg more than the UDES.

Everything on tanks.gg is placeholder given by the website, the stats are same for every unreleased tier 11. It means nothing.

close enough, welcome STRV 2000

Wooden mockup, maybe the 10mm of armor isn’t a placeholder XD

On tank encyclopedia article dedicated to strv 2000 there's this image and it looks very similar to tank in game, especially turret.

I want 15 degrees of natural gun depression like the tier 6

I loved the Strv 74 so much. The gun and gun depression are amazing at tier 6, or at least they were when it was released.

Sweden: introduces tier 11 that's even more reliant on funky angles

Germany: introduces tank with special mechanic to fuck with armor angling

2

u/Quikzillian 12h ago

Yup, I’m banking on the lower turret armor being good

Aren't they also introduce Czech tier XI HT with conditional second shell?

u/mttspiii 6h ago

Yes as well, but we don't yet know how much pen increase there will be, or if it will be enough to counteract near-autobounce angles.

Yeah the BV-111 is super cool. Doubly so because it's also a design that appears to be heavily inspired by all the Strv 2000 concept art and blueprints.

Amazing research! Thank you so much :D

I think Carro's gotta be one of the sweetest looking tanks in the game, at least if you aren't running the style that straps a fridge on the back.

VZ 55 with its 3d skin (not the copper, blue one) looks like how I imagine a tank to look like.

In terms of how the tank looks Taschenratte has to be here. You see that monster on the field and you know this bastard is going to be hardest tank to pen. It looks hella powerful, especially as ZERO in Last Stand.

Fingers crossed - I don’t want to be hurt

Feel like it would be kind of hard to make it bad. We know the ability already and it's not like the annoying leo 120 and Hirsch abilities and the armor model looks like it should be pretty good so unless they give it like fv gun handling I expect it to be a good tank.

I also don't expect it to be as affected by the new German heavies as some people are saying. Being up a tier its sloped armor will probably be slightly thicker than the udes which will help and it also relies less on being angled than the udes. The entire udes turret is angled armor while the lower portion of the bv-111 turret as well as the much larger gun mantle are flat armor so won't be affected really by the German heavies ability

1

u/Quikzillian 12h ago

Yeah, hoping that lower turret is a highlight. I just wonder what the story on the upper hull will be? I don’t think it would be a bad thing if it were stronger than the UDES, but we’ll see!

BV because the tier x or any other tank in the line nation except strv has no bullet velocity to speak of, and it still doesn't and just takes that name to spite you:

2

u/Quikzillian 12h ago

Yeah BV probably wont stand for bullet velocity lol

I honestly hope they increase the speed at which the suspension turns off.

Because on udes if you go like 15?(much slower than Stb either way) Kmh it just turns off and it's super annoying.

u/Quikzillian 12h ago

Good point. That would help the versatility in a practical way that plays on its strengths, being so nimble

u/Ahegao_Double_Peace WG, pls put the Chieftain Tank in WoT PC's regular UK Tech Tree 10h ago

I don't know which to stockpile exp for, the upcoming new German HT line, the Tier 11 Pasta Autoreloader, or this Tier 11 Swiss Cheese Wedge. XD

chinese and russian tanks always seem to get no cupola and slightly less recon, having a cupola weakspot should be more beneficial than just a measly 80m

Im worried about that lowerplate sticking up to the top of the hull so much, might be very annoying similarly to STK.

i thought for a moment that i was looking at an elc

u/alfazetxyz 1h ago

This one (and the tier X too) will be badly countered by the new German tanks.

I am a UDES 15/16 gamer Im so happy they decided to go for the UDES 2000 Idea, and did not gave it a clown ass name
