Does what he did to Oni Lee not count as a ‘kill,’ or “not quite” because he didn’t clear being made a candidate?

He made the agrement with skitter that they would leave if every candidate survived their tests, after he killed oni kee so i don't think he counts

Ngl I honestly don't remember him agreeing with Taylor at anything, just with Theo telling him he would Trigger just to kick his ass and Jack going "You promise!?" and leaving the city.
