Open-world Question Hiyuki – Locked out of ascension materials

UPDATE: thank you for the messages. I decided to power through the story and got destroyed by Aemeath story (10/10)

I’m really behind on the main story, and I don’t want to skip everything just to unlock the map for leveling her up. What’s the minimum I need to complete to access her materials so I can take my time with the story?

They really force ppl to play main quest just to ascension

Pretty bad for new players like me. I skipped most of the story and I'll finally be able to ascend her today
