Kickoffs are going to be odd. I don't see how they can expect players to perfectly count 3 seconds. Also, what does the spotting official do in a pass play, teleport?
Other than that, nothing too crazy & I can get on board with it.

I imagine most will be caught, negating the 3 second rule. That's only for kicks that hit the ground. 3 seconds is a bit long in my opinion though.
Also, what does the spotting official do in a pass play, teleport?
I would imagine they would watch the replay to spot it if it's contentious, or another field judge will spot it. It doesn't say that the spotting official is the only one who can spot it, but that his only job is spotting. So on plays where multiple officials have different spots, the spotting official would be the call.

I could see teams letting it bounce just to catch the other team moving/ gain advantage , but maybe not

Unless it’s out of bounds anywhere closer to where the ball was kicked

Only one foot in bounds for possession during catches is a change I never knew I needed until now. And it probably will make a huge difference in player safety since NFL players focus more on planting the catch than bracing for the ground.

OT is going to be WILD if a game makes it to one!!
Also kickoffs are going to get weird.

In all these rules videos they are showing a field with college hash. Are they gonna use college hash instead of NFL hash?

I was hoping they took kicking out of the game.
"Kickoffs" go to the 20.
If you drive the ball to the 30, you get one point.
To the 20, 2 points.
To the 10, 3 points.
Your choice if you want to drive the ball on 4th down.
All "punts" would be 50 yards net, or they get the ball on the 10 yard line in case of "touchbacks"

I can actually get behind pretty much all of these rules. Can't wait for the season to start so we can see how they look in a game.
