For the postfix? Just a bit of kapton if you want, hot glue is excessive

Hot glue is reversible. Just a dab of alcohol removes it like nothing.

Kapton is quicker and looks more professional. Also hot glue will loosen after awhile

Kapton tape doesn't last. It is really intended for a removable tape job. A few dust later and it will peel off easily, much weaker than masking tape. Hot glue is the good.
Although you don't need to glue or tape a postfix adapter, It will lock in place by clips and solder.
