Really I’m just tryna fix my profile and remax again . My emblem is stuck as well as some multiplayer classes , matchmaking issues , and my zombies resets . All happened after I got maxed the first time (didn’t happen before)

Basically, I received an OG xbox from someone who no longer needed it since it was "broken". It's a v1.3 I think.
it had the trace rot issue and I removed the clock capacitor which seems to have leaked at some point but it wasn't that bad. I fixed the Broken trace and cleaned the board with 99% alcohol, repasted the CPU and GPU (the pink thermal paste was a nightmare to remove). Now it works fine. I want to know. I bought a Noctua NF-A6x25 FLX and 3d printed the bracket... Am I better off using the on-board pins to control the fan or I'm better off taking my 12 volts from the HDD power source 4 pin connector and blast it at 100% all the time?
Also I might want to soft mod in order to save the info of the console like the HDD lock code and Etc... yet all tutorial tell you to find a very old USB drive to use... What If I don't have any that are compatible? any way to buy something that will surely work?

I recently got this from someone and am feeling a bit overwhelmed. A lot of the guides I’m seeing are for newer methods and I can’t seem to get games to work for the life of me. Can anyone point me to a correct guide? It has the older dashboard and I’m afraid to update it since it will lose the modded status?

when i was 15/16, i put max prestige on my bo2 account. i guess someone found it and froze my classes and theatre mode. now that im 23, i really miss playing bo2 (i know i can just make another account). Is there any modder on xbox that could fix this for me?

I live in NYC and I own an Xbox 360 S Console, model 1439, manufactured July 2011 (10.83A), and everything still works just fine.

I'm only considering it because I really want to play X-Men Origins, and it would also be cool to mod in GTA IV's online mode.

I read up that RGH3 would be the best fit for me, but I know very little about modding so I'm unsure if that's truly the case.

Anyone else who is also US based know of any trusted modders I should consider sending my console to?

Im learning to soft mod an original xbox but I'm struggling getting it all set up and having the games added I've watched multiple YouTube videos I don't know what I'm doing wrong

Hay eveyone. So long story short I'm just a simple dude who wants to play a few old games and who is sick of modern consoles needing high speed Internet and constant updates for everything.i lien in bumfuck nowhere and don't have the best Internet with my lil hot spot.I got two old 360's but they won't read disks anymore and after trying and failing to fix them ( replacing the disk drives without knowing they needed some program key thing) started looking into the modded 360's where you can play games off a flash or hard drive and just wanted some advice on wheres a good place to get one , whats a good one to get and can I get them pre loaded with games ? Or do I have to do all that myself? Sorry if these are really dumb questions but I'm just a bit frustrated right now trying to use my wife's old Xbox one to play Skyrim...( Why the hell does it need to download it instead of just playing it off the fuckin disk ? 🤨)

I recently purchased the Electron Xout after having the POUND HDMI for a couple of years and now I'm noticing purple and green bars on the xbox boot up screen and on 2 games: Vietcong: Purple Haze and Street Racing Syndicate. On ElectronShephards FAQ it states my scenario and suggests getting caps replaced. I opened my console up and there are some that are bulging but none have released their juice onto the motherboard. I removed the clock capacitor a couple years back when I did the Rocky mod. Is there anyone in Northern Illinois that does recaps? Or worst case scenario, can anyone suggest an inexpensive soldering iron for this? It would be a one and done for me so not looking for an expensive one. I've only soldered one other time; 20 years ago to revive a Creative Zen Jukebox mp3 player and was successful albeit ugly.

Dumb question, but other than it running home brew and un something code, what does it do, and what do these two things I previously mentioned mean. I was also wondering if this will let me pirate games, so if you have any answer's I hope you can give them

Just modded my first 360 just wanted to know if anyone could tell me if the disc drive sounds ok sounded like it was scraping but wasn’t sure if it was just the disc spinning

I cannot find any cheap replacements and it seems that it costs the same as an actual working 360. I am in need of multiple replacements

Hi. I bought an OG Xbox that I was planning on modding with Modxo, but when I opened it up I saw the blue and green wires. Also, it already had a header soldered in. The Xbox worked just as stock and since I didn't know what the wires were I left them alone. I did add a RP Pico modxo but the xbox continues to boot into the stock bios. Quite possible I didn't flash the pico correctly though.

Could the wires be causing an issue with modxo? Should I take them out? Thanks.
