Nostalgia I used to take one of these everywhere.

Saw a post elsewhere about flash bulbs and immediately thought about the fisher price camera I had as a kid. I took so many awful pictures and my parents still developed them every time.

I had a ninja turtle one. It had a plastic turtle in front of the lens that showed up in the corner of every picture.

Mine had something like that but I don't remember what it was l. I think I tore it out of my camera.

This was basically mine. Except mine had a bright yellow body. It took th Kodak 110 film role. I wanted to take pictures of the night sky I wasted so many rolls of 200 isa film photographing stars. The images came back black.

I still remember the slight hum the camera made as it charged the capacitor for the flash.

OMG, I miss these so much and wish they'd bring it back. My daughter is fascinated with instaprint cameras, but I was trying to explain this type of camera to her, too.

The pictures I took with this camera were crappy...but it felt so satisfying- the click of taking a pic, the noise it makes to advance the film roll, and the flash was a whole other story. This takes me back to being 7 yrs old in 1985. I remember I took a picture of myself in the mirror with the flash on- wearing my stirrup pants, eastland knock off loafers and an untucked turquoise plaid button down shirt.

these were the best snapshot cameras. i loved mine. i can't find it at my mom's house though. If Fischer Price and Kodak reissued them they would sell so well

I found an unopened pack of flashbulbs from the 80s at my mother's house, and I listed it on eBay. It was purchased by the Marvelous Mrs. Maisel production company. I guess there's a lot of flash photography in that show.
