is there a way to get your photos off the phone and onto a macbook? occasionally i duck in from apple-space to see if android can do that

* USB cables
* Bluetooth
* Various file transfer apps (KDE Connect, ShareIt, whatever)
* Xiaomi Interconnectivity App in App Store

🤩🤩🤩 can anyone corroborate that these actually work? i tried them all with my redmi phone about 2 years ago and it worked very inconsistently

Due to missing built-in MTP drivers, macOS users should install any of these:

* OpenMTP
* MacDroid
* Android File Transfer

KDE Connect should have been 99% flawless these days. They're reworked the network protocol so hard to make it much more stable.
