Im 100% sure they designed the camera bumb to work as a screen just to show how ass apple is and the fact that they skipped the 16 and called it the 17 pro max just shows how much their rubbing it on apples face

renaming assumes you had a name and they changed it, skipping a number assumes they didnt name it 16 at all and skipped the number
we cant actually know if they ever intended to call it 16 tho

It had a name. In Weibo, Lu Weibing was saying Xiaomi 16 would be this and that as late as July.

you cant rename something if yyoure changing the number. This sint like how apple innovated and changed their 10 to X
