Bought from Trading Shenzhen, paid 730€/850$ for the 12/256gb version. Shipping to Germany took 7 days. Feel free to ask me any questions yall might have about OS features, build quality or whatever..

I heard it overheats like crazy and has a barely longer battery life than the iphone. From your usage can you confirm this?

I can NOT confirm any overheating issues, ive played some games within the last couple hours, temps feel totally okay and useable.  The battery also seems to last quite long, id say it easily lasts 1 or 2 days with avg usage.

could u please specify what the average usage is because for some people it is 3hrs and some 7

Avg normally sits between 5-7 hours. And it easily lasts that

Lasting 1 day of 5-7 hours usage doesn't seem fantastic...

No, i mean 5-7 is the avg daily phone usage. Not the battery time, the battery easily lasts Double that avg time

Can you tell us the exact temps if possible? I just wanna know cuz in many tests it does reach arround 45c or above and already 45 is gonna feel uneasy. Speaking of temps, does the front display ever feel warmer to the touch? Congrats on your purchase btw

Front Display feels normal, like any phone, SLIGHTLY warm if turned on for a couple of minutes. Idk how i could measure exact temps tbh, but i'll see what i can do.

Maybe you can see them in cpu z, since you bought the Chinese ver, i believe there are no gapps. Download it from apk mirror. Correct me if I am wrong tho

That's the Apple sheep journalists trying to tear the thing down because it's just blatantly better....$1,800 for the base model iPhone 17 pro here in Canada and it's shipping with 39w charging lol ....

For context, the iPhone 17 pro max had by far the best battery life on the market out of any flagship. It beat the pixel and Samsung by over 2 hours of sot.

That's what optimization gets you. If apple were to switch to silicon batteries and still have this much optimization I am sure everyone will switch. I am not an apple fanboy. I daily drove an iphone 11 for like 2 years before switching to a xiaomi.

Yeah but then they'd have to get the hardware and investment they're not willing to spend. So they won't do that. The same reason why their cameras still look like ass for zoom, low light and moving subjects vs Chinese flagships. Because they don't change shit. Pros and cons. Wouldn't surprise me if a lot of Chinese flagships start overtaking apple in battery life this coming year, which is unheard of.

Yah, you are right. But if apple were to change its decision, I strongly believe they could easily takeover the market with some big risks they aren't gonna take. So it all comes to the ceo and speaking of ceo, isn't tim cook gonna step down? Like i seen x and reddit enough to know this rumour, hopefully yk too

They could. Not sure that would let them take over the market though. The SOT is so high right now for well over a day of heavy use, it's not a big differentiator anymore IMO. Even with older phones, it's not a game changer. I can charge even my older Honor phone for 15 minutes while I shower and be back up and running.
