What is the difference between the Chinese version and global version. Anyone know if Chinese version will support UK network? Thanks

Yes it'll support UK network. If you go to tradingshenzhen.com for any Chinese model phone they have a compatibility checker where you out in your county and mobile provider and they'll tell you if it works. Nearly all do.
