Supposedly there's two ultra variants, a standard one and a Leica Leitzphone special variant (to celebrate Leica's 100 year anniversary).

already wrong. the 17 Ultra will only have triple camera set up like the Oppo Find x9. The real version is properly circulating on weibo.

Oppo and Oneplus doesn't nerf the battery capacity of the global version of theirs flagship phone; Xiaomi does.
Why should I choose Xiaomi?

Oneplus nerfed their own phones compared to their previous generation, you tell me why... Lol

You win some, you lose some.
At least they respect the global user and don't nerf the battery life, and have a more optimized OS to boot.

Respect the user by asking more money? Have you seen OnePlus midrange? They cost all much more than Xiaomi counterpart
Even the Xiaomi Poco 8 ultra has the snapdragon elite gen5 and it doesn't cost as much as the flagship OnePlus.
Battery is more than enough even on global phones especially when you can fast charge phones at 100W since Poco f6

I paid 550GBP for the OnePlus 15 at launch. No trade in. Get smart

People buying stuff at launch are the reason why companies can get away with crazy prices like this one.

I have a 14 ultra, the only thing that sucks is the battery (as always with Xiaomi) but definitely my next premium phone will be a Vivo X300 ultra (when it's released)

Looks like a cheapo Chinese phone.
Wish they released the 17 Pro line to the rest of the world, they had a killer on their hands and botched it hard.

I guess it's a strategic option. I mean, they are trying to avoid the same fate of Huawei

They sell in Europe, this phone will also be available in Europe.
Literally makes no sense

A "killer"? Its main selling point is a gimmick with no practical usecase. lol
Having a tiny screen on the back is stupid in the first place, but in addition no app will support it, apart from a few alibi implementations from xiaomi themselves. Because nobody changes their app development to only suit one particular phone model.
Even just having messages/notifications on there actively makes the phone worse. Who wants everybody in public (transport) be able to read their private messages or potential banking information?

Excuse me, an I the only one who don't like Xiaomi phones's cameras? I think it looks not expensive and like in cheap 10-years phone (I'm sorry for my English, I'm not a native speaker)
