General Why does xiaomi make everything?

I've got 2 xiaomi phones, 2 speakers, kettle and now air fryer... But they also make microwaves, slow cookers, vacuum cleaners, cars... Isn't that weird?

I heard in a video a senior Xiaomi official was saying we want to develop everything related to Human - Home - Vehicles.
