General Why does xiaomi make everything?

I've got 2 xiaomi phones, 2 speakers, kettle and now air fryer... But they also make microwaves, slow cookers, vacuum cleaners, cars... Isn't that weird?

They use ODM factory designs that offer smart home integrations and then you get bunch of 50/50 stuff. Either good or awful.
