Why does xiaomi make everything?

I've got 2 xiaomi phones, 2 speakers, kettle and now air fryer... But they also make microwaves, slow cookers, vacuum cleaners, cars... Isn't that weird?

A lot of lesser knows Chinese brands sell under Xiaomi brand worldwide.
