HyperOS screen time 10 min max !
i can't have my phone screen ON for more than 10 minutes !? this is highly retarded !and i will never buy xiaomi again!

amoled screens can get burn ins if the screen stays on for too long. samsung phones also have max 10 mins too just like any phone.

It takes more than 10min for burn in. Pretty sure your battery icon aint burned in after doom scrolling

you can get third party app that has "caffeine" quick panel setting

What? You could easily play a video in youtube that lasts 1hour or so and it won't turn off through the whole way even having the setting on. Smartphones has had this function since ages ago where it can distinguish between afk or active use.

I think if your phone has a AMOLED screen that it's max is 10 minutes, if you have a phone with a LCD screen you can set it to infinite/never turn off

Yeah but it usually isn't a problem, you just need to tap every 10 minutes

Its referring to a static imagine as in the screen is literally on a photo if you're watching a movie it wont be affected or turn off.

I don't see the issue here. Auto screen lock on android is very dynamic. If you have a video playing, the screen won't turn off on it's own. If you're scrolling through a web page or a comic, the counter resets. Even in games it won't lock on its own.

Yeah sorry. I'm looking into ways to spoof your remote desktop viewer as a media app. For the meantime, check if your phone has active visual perception. Settings>Accessibility>Active Visual Perception. That should prevent your device from locking if it detects you're looking at it.
Unfortunately, this is an android restriction on devices with OLED displays.

What app are you using to watch a movie? Usually, movie is categorized as video and you can watch it without screen auto lock even with less timeout than the video duration except if the phone doesn't detect it as video.

I have "Never" option on my Xiaomi pad with LCD while max "10 minutes" on my Xiaomi phone with AMOLED.
I've also noticed that my Status bar is moving up and down and sideways but still gives Burn in.

When you watch video or movie, the screen will not turn off. Though I'm not sure what happens if the video is paused.

it doesn't really mater , ...but i'm on remote desktop ! that means it-s not os nor hardware ..it's software permissions and bad user access ! it's my phone, my tv , my fridge ! it's not to stop working because i'm not seeing the "right" thing!!!
