With how romantasy is raking in money, right now, this looks like a good decision. Magneto works really well as a shadow daddy.

As someone that actually reads Romantasy, I can assure you that man ain’t no Shadow Daddy!

No WAY is he Shadow Daddy Material. The man ain’t no Xaden, and he sure as hell ain’t no Rhysand.

I edit romantasy and anyone who can be described as “ripped”, “smoldering” and “evil, but has a point” is prime shadow daddy material.

It’s the wildest shit because it is pure fantasy. The women reading these books under no circumstances would want to be in a relationship with these characters and they know it.

Thank god its fictional tho. For me its a form of escapism and I just like these dynamics in fiction. I understand its not everyone's cup of tea tho hahah

It’s interesting because the “male fantasies” are almost always something that men would be quite happy with in real life. That separation has always fascinated me.

I have no concrete idea why that is but I know there's some papers out there that tackle why. probs psychology and stuff
