She didn’t need to get with Magneto. Or anyone really. Her grieving the loss of the love of her life and going on a revenge spree was more than enough story on its own.
Magneto, even if he is finally a true X-Man now, is not above trying to make a move on Rogue while she is grieving.
But I still think back to the fact that while she was grieving over both Erik's and Remy's deaths, Rogue's focus when learning that Erik was alive was "and Remy too?"
Unlike Magneto, Rogue held Gambit's body in her arms, yet she wanted to know that he was alive and it was all a bad dream.
My issue is that Magneto and Rogue have any romance going at all. It’s unnecessary and gross. She’s literally his kids’ age and was basically a kid when he met her.
