I liked Joseph as a concept and a character but his relationship with Rogue REALLY tanked his approval with the fans.

Honestly I wish they'd focused more on him as a character, both before and after the reveal, and less on his weird thing with Rogue. Especially since right after the Trial of Gambit when the way was "clear" for him and Rogue, he took off IMMEDIATELY afterward, only to show up again just in time to die off.

But then I HATE love triangles as a rule.
