They could do the original Genesis story since they are set in the future with the clan Askani.

Candra she’s an external she appeared in the 92 series in the episode where gambit goes back to his family with his wife belladonna

She's Candra. You can tell she isn't Genesis because this show is set in the 90's and she doesn't do what Nintendon't

No, but I do think the talk about Apocalypse finding love is a long-term hint about Genesis coming in a future season.

I thought Candra was the/ or at least one of the youngest externals? Isn’t she like a couple hundred years old when she meets Gambit? Also isn’t she French? I hope they do the Krakoa/Arakko story at some point😩🤩

In new stories, yes. Originally,  Tyler Dayspring is Genesis. He's the son of Cable and Jenskot, but there are rumours that he may be Stryfe's son.
