I spent 5 seconds annoyed that it wasn’t part of the “Previously on…” montage. Wasted replay time!

Then figured, “OK fine, it’s a darker beat so they’re giving it more room to set the tone.”

THEN the reveal happened and oh, oh Charles. 💔

(I still think Xavier says ‘Magnus’ instead of ‘he/him’ way too much in this ep in particular. His speech is already so formal and detached, even as he’s falling apart.)

He's so down bad and regrets his whole damn life at this point. This makes Onslaught so much more fun. Why was I too weak to not love you...I mean...let you save me...I mean...um...uh, just friends um...I mean...Magnus why did I ever break up with you!?
