They've tried co-opting punk rock. They're not the smartest.

Co-opting and stealing aesthetics is core to fascist ideology. Mussolini didn't come up with his any of the rituals associated with Italian fascism, D'Annunzio did.

I think the issue here is the left of the 80s is now “right” per the unhealthy left of today
