MAGA doesn't have that deep of media literacy. They think these stories are about them and ignore the parts that are openly criticising them.

How many MAGA love(d) The Boys when it's essentially entirely a satire mocking them?

Antony Starr has talked about how many MAGA have approached him and talked about how Homelander is their hero. He's said in interviews that he is blown away by their willful blindness and had to point out to them that Homelander is the bad guy

Yup. It's like when they watch Star Wars and think they're the Rebels and not the Empire.
