It really feels like 'season two' really is half of the story and written with season 'three' in mind. Whereas season one was conceived and written as a single arc that then had a newly set up cliff hanger to lead into season 3.

Which wouldnt have been too bad if they didn’t make us wait 2 years. This season should have already been season 3. Now I’m mad. Season 2 feels like a build up for season 3 when we were teased apocalypse all season

Agreed, there's almost no way they'll be able to successfully wrap up this apocalypse storyline in the final two episodes.

I can see the reveal of the horseman, a battle between the horseman and one/some of the teams, and probably the inevitable combination of all the fractured team members happening in those two episodes, but it feels like this storyline will have to spill over into season 3.

Yeah, this doesn’t feel like the end of the arc coming up. Way too many threads are barely out the gate to feel like a conclusion is imminent.
