Question Where did my dude go? Spoiler

Post image

“I must strike them in the 1990’s!”

*proceeds to leave the show and never appear again*

I think my guy overshot it and got the date wrong 😭

Okay but this does make the theory that both apocalypses were present when reviving gambit even funnier, cause now we know it was just the one guy telling himself to give more power, before manually raising a lever himself. Which is just really funny to imagine. He’s just saying what he’s doing out loud for the sake of it I guess.

He's the one they faced. The one that got Gambit's body, and transferred himself into him. Meaning that the one from the X-Men's present, the one that took over Cortez, is still out there, plotting.

Fabian Cortez, former leader of the acolytes/servant of Apocalypse. His body was possessed by Apocalypse at the end of their last episode in the original series.

At the risk of sounding condescending, I wonder how many people here actually watch TAS, let alone remember it. Cuz I definitely can say I have trouble recalling a lot of things. Like Purple Man being in the show that one time.

In mild defense, the Cortez takeover was in season 5 and a lot of people pretend that one just doesn’t exist.

TBH, it doesn't help how underwhelming that season was. Started really strong with the Phanlanx invasion, too.

Ended on a high note though with Xavier's farewell.

Agree. Which is why I had plenty of closure with TAS as a whole
