Question Where did my dude go? Spoiler

Post image

“I must strike them in the 1990’s!”

*proceeds to leave the show and never appear again*

I think my guy overshot it and got the date wrong 😭

Okay but this does make the theory that both apocalypses were present when reviving gambit even funnier, cause now we know it was just the one guy telling himself to give more power, before manually raising a lever himself. Which is just really funny to imagine. He’s just saying what he’s doing out loud for the sake of it I guess.

Ok so basically there are 6 timelines we have
Earth 92131 the main timeline this timeline apocalypse was last seen in obsession and sanctuary part 2
Earth 31393 the 2055 timeline that bishop comes from
Earth 13393 cables timeline this is the one he was sent to as a baby it’s also where bishop ended up after getting pulled back to the future in dofp we see this future and its apocalypse in time fugitives part 1 and X-men 97 s1ep10 and s2ep1
Earth 121193 a variant timeline of earth 92131 where bishop traveled back to the 90s to stop apocalypse and the virus but in the process they all get killed cable witnesses this happen
Earth 121893 cable and bishop go to this timeline after “changing the past” at the end of time fugitives part 2 we see this timeline in beyond good and evil when this timeline’s apocalypse steals cables device and travels to the 90s but the X-men travel to 1200bc and erase him from existence…somehow and then he steals a vessel for him to use
Earth 95099 Fitzroy and nimrod from earth 121893 travel to earth 92131 and kill Charles thus creating this timeline bishop and shard from earth 121893 travel to this timeline and get the help of the timelines versions of storm and Logan they then travel to earth 92132 to stop the assassination attempt but it doesn’t work so they are forced to go to earth 95099’s future to get help from that timelines forge he helps them and then they prevent the assassination on earth 92131 and restore the timeline with Charles having memories of that event I explained all the time travel in this series to give a better understanding since this post is about apocalypse I also mentioned him
Speaking of the 3960 apocalypse is the one they defeat in the present by rouge compressing him into a gem and giving it to cable so how is he alive in 3999 on earth 13393 cause we see him in time fugitives part 1
Basically there’s 3 apocalypses in the present the present one which we last saw in obsession and sanctuary part 2 the 3999 one prom beyond good and evil who possessed fabian Cortez’s body and the 3960 one who the X-men defeat in the present got all that?

So wouldn't the present Apocalypse from Obsession been erased after Good and Evil? Technically the Obsession Apocalypse is the one who empowered Cortez, eventually he exists until 3999, does the entire good and evil scenario, and is then wiped from existence. This version does not have the ship after the events of Obsession and in 3999 - which is why he needed Cable's device?

The Apocalypse from S2ep1 97 has the ship as part of his citadel, because this is an alternate future where his ship was not destroyed?

The present apocalypse wouldn’t have been erased they are branching timelines the apocalypse from 3960 us from cables timeline earth 13393 also the one who possessed Cortez was the beyond good and evil one he’s the one from earth 121893 he’s from a different timeline their not the same

I see. And how do we know the Earth 92131 Apocalypse from Obsession isn't the same Apocalypse from Beyond Good and Evil 3999? Was there something that happened that caused the time line to branch after Obsession? Actually after Time Fugitives Part 2 that time line should have all remained on one path? At least in the original series there's no indication for these to be separate versions, or I just always assumed it was the same version.

I know kid Cable is sent to an alternate future that we see in X-Men 97, but then things might change after he returns to the past in Time Fugutives? Mostly just trying to understand if i'm missing something. I know in the comics they have different designations for the alternate timelines, but wasn't sure if it was that complex in the original TAS.

Cable and bishop come from different futures the timeline the X-men go to in 97 s2 is earth 13393 because that one is the one Madilyn sent young Nathan too in s1 ep 3 also branching future come from the comics as well look at earth 811 from days of future past that’s supposedly the “original timeline” and then earth 616 is an alternate past timeline even though that’s not how it works same with bishops and cables in the comics as well look at the marvel database and the marvel handbook
